(516) 628-1720Founded in 1974, the Bayville Historical Museum is dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of Oyster Bay’s north shore. The museum’s collection includes photographs, furniture, clothing, and tools dating back to the late 1800’s, when Bayville’s once bountiful asparagus farms began morphing into tourist resorts. Other highlights include artifacts from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the two World Wars.

(516) 801-3401Formed by Sea Cliff residents shortly after America’s bicentennial, the Sea Cliff Village Museum took residence in a brick structure built in 1913 on the foundation of a late 19th Century Methodist Church. The museum houses a vast collection of documents, photographs, artifacts, tools, and art depicting Sea Cliff’s early history. Its extensive photo archive, which focuses primarily on images from the early 20th Century, is a valuable resource used regularly by writers, genealogists, and students.
