Veterans and active United States military personnel are invited to the Town of Oyster Bay’s Armed Forces Appreciation Day celebration, slated for Friday, May 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park. This free event includes a BBQ and entertainment by the American Bombshells.
“The Town of Oyster Bay is committed to serving veterans and ensuring that they have access to important benefits to which they are entitled,” said Supervisor Saladino. “This is an important way of thanking our brave hometown heroes for protecting the freedoms we enjoy each and every day as Americans.”
To accommodate as many hometown heroes as possible, veterans and active military personnel are invited to bring one guest. There is no charge to attend and a rain date is scheduled for Friday, May 23rd. To RSVP, please call the Town of Oyster Bay at (516) 797-4121.
