The Long Island Orchid Society will be holding its 10th annual Orchid Festival at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. This year’s theme focuses on terrariums and the different ways to grow orchids, and each vendor will offer a large selection of rare & exotic orchids available for purchase!
During the festival, there will be presentations on how to care for your orchids and how to make your own terrarium. The festival will also feature local artists from The Art League of Nassau County, along with an orchid watercolor demonstration!
Event Details: Friday, May 30th – Sunday, June 1st from 9am – 5pm
Presentations:
Care for Orchids – Saturday & Sunday at 2pm
Create Terrarium – Saturday at 1pm
Watercolor Demonstration – Sunday at 1pm
