Gold Coast Book Fair 2025

The Gold Coast Book Fair is Long Island’s largest annual literary event, with 75 authors, thousands of readers, panels, book signings and workshops, along with a festive marketplace with food and vendors. Produced by the non-profit organization, Gold Coast Forum, this event takes place over the course of one weekend on the campus of LIU Post and in downtown Oyster Bay!

Event Details: Friday, May 16th – Sunday, May 18th
Friday – 7:00pm at LIU Post with a keynote conversation featuring Pulitzer Prize winning author of Alexander Hamilton and Grant, Ron Chernow, who will be discussing his newest release, Mark Twain.

Saturday: 10am – 6pm at LIU Post – B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library ; A full day of author talks, book signings, kids area with presentations and attractions. You can also stroll the marketplace, see the showcase of independent authors and visit the local food trucks!

Sunday: 11am – 5pm at Audrey Avenue, Downtown Oyster Bay; A full day of author events, book signings and a street fair on Audrey Avenue. There will be kids activities, author talks and book signing, along with a Gatsby-themed happy hour to celebrate the event!
