Founded in 1974, the Bayville Historical Museum is dedicated to preserving and displaying the history of Oyster Bay’s north shore. The museum’s collection includes photographs, furniture, clothing, and tools dating back to the late 1800’s, when Bayville’s once bountiful asparagus farms began morphing into tourist resorts. Other highlights include artifacts from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the two World Wars.
